The Wedding School is the only learning center where you can literally enter the world of real wedding planners. You’ll have access to actual work files and real wedding experiences so you can build the knowledge you need to launch your very own successful wedding business.
For 18 years, The Wedding School has trained aspiring wedding planners from around the world to enter and succeed in this exciting and lucrative profession. You can be one of them! Learn about the romantic, creative elements that make planning so much fun–from designing theme receptions and selecting flowers to making event plans and coordinating those plans for your couple and their guests. And equally important, learn about the serious side of the business–from understanding contracts and getting your first client to negotiating vendor agreements and solving budget challenges.
What sets The Wedding School apart from all others is that we focus on real wedding couples…. we don’t rewrite information that you can easily find on the internet or in a college class. With us, you’ll “walk in the shoes of a wedding consultant” because your coursework includes profiles used at real wedding. You’ll receive copies of real checklists, real timelines, real schedule-of-events, real bride requests and from us–the real planner answers and real communication with the couples. You’ll learn from these real-life examples how to set up your business, how to service your clients, how to plan weddings. These reference materials will give you a solid foundation so you won’t have to re-create them to launch your business.
The Wedding School offers two programs, allowing you to choose the learning style that best meets your time schedule, intensity and budget.
THE ANYTIME, ANYWHERE PROGRAM: At your own pace and at your own home, learn to be a wedding planner with training on-line, a CD or with our custom textbook. Participate in Phone, Email, FaceTime or Chat to discuss your own individual plans and ask questions on any topic
THE BOSTON FIERCE PROGRAM: At a 3-day intense class in the Boston area, learn to be a wedding planner, participating in face-to-face sessions led by professional planners.
Both programs cover similar content that’s easy-to-follow, step-by-step, practical direction on how to be a wedding planner. The lessons are flexible and enjoyable to delve into, while providing valuable teaching tools to learn a new career.
All of us at The Wedding School are trained teachers who are also professional wedding planners. We’ve designed and managed hundreds of weddings so we’re able to tap our expertise to create a truly inspirational learning experience. You’ll be paired with one of our teachers who will be your mentor, guiding you to success. Upon completion of either of the programs, you’ll receive a certificate of graduation that represents your knowledge of the profession.
