This is the program if you
want to achieve the highest recognition awarded at The Wedding School. To
earn Certification, you must demonstrate that you have book knowledge in
addition to real-life wedding planning experience. At this senior level, you
will have developed a portfolio, satisfactorily worked with couples, and
created a full comprehensive wedding weekend, among other accomplishments.
You can graduate to this
highest level of The Wedding School by participating in an advanced,
curriculum program. This is the Certification process. Once satisfactorily
completed, you will be recognized as a thoroughly competent wedding planner.

becoming a Certified Wedding Planner ….
….To qualify for the
application process….
You must prove that you have extensive knowledge of the wedding planning
field by completing the Conference Experience. If you participated in the
3-day seminar or the 1.5-day teleconference, you may begin the certification
process immediately. If you initially chose to learn about the profession
through the Home-Study Course, you must complete a 4-hour long-distance
conference via telephone and e-mail. This consultation will discuss,
role-play, brainstorm, assess, analyze information as it applies to your
business. The cost for this consultation with The Wedding School staff is
$55/hour.
…To complete the
certification process…
You will receive a new advanced curriculum for this program. You will
complete the exams, create a virtual wedding, build a portfolio, create a
business plan, design and execute the design of no less than five weddings.
You should receive no less than 85% on your exam, provide 2 letters of
recommendations from the following categories: couples, vendors, sites,
local organizations. You will also document your wedding planning efforts
for one couple by using the information and resources taught throughout The
Wedding School program.
Once The Wedding Schools
staff has reviewed and graded your work at 85% or higher, you proudly join
the rank of Certified Wedding Planner and display a distinguishing plaque to
your clients.
